James brings over twenty years of diverse professional experience in the architecture and construction industry to his role as Vice President of Architectural Services at Carson Design Associates.  His projects have spanned from coast to coast across nearly twenty states and a range of project types, including corporate/office, senior living, retail, and multifamily housing, where he has completed over 5,000 market rate and affordable units with a construction cost value of $700MM.  Prior to joining Carson, he served as an in-house architect for a national multifamily developer after establishing his career in design firms in his hometown of Cleveland, OH.

A graduate of The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, James is also a member of the American Institute of Architects, an NCARB Certificate-holder, and a registered architect in multiple states.  He is a strong believer that collaboration is the key to engaged teams and successful projects and is passionate about finding creative solutions through design.
