Julie is the majority owner and President of Carson Design Associates. Her passions are helping clients solve puzzles with creative, strategic design solutions and fostering meaningful relationships with clients, contractors, and developers. In her 25+ year journey with Carson Design Associates, she has had the opportunity to touch all aspects of the services we provide, serving in design, project management, and business operations roles before taking on ownership in 2013.

Julie’s mission is to facilitate positive change in clients' work environments as a trusted advisor who will always look out for their best interests and provide new and different perspectives. She believes in creating spaces that give people the confidence to be innovative, achieve their goals, and accomplish their organization's mission.

With degrees in business administration and interior design from Indiana State University, she is thankful to have a career that always keeps her interested and energized.  She is a registered interior designer in the state of Indiana and Florida and she is NCIDQ certified.  She is a WELL AP and LEED AP with specialty in Interior Design & Construction.  Julie is member of IndyCREW, Women’s President Organization, and sits on the Interior Architectural Design Advisory board at Indiana State University.  In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, watercolor painting, pickleball, and cooking.
