Melissa Thevenin joined Carson Design Associates as an onsite designer at Eli Lilly in 2023, and she looks forward to utilizing her construction experience and data management expertise on projects. As someone who is very detail-oriented and analytical, Melissa loves to dig deep to find information, organize data, and solve problems.

Originally from Northwest Indiana, she received her bachelor’s degree in Construction Management & Engineering Technologies from Purdue University – Northwest, then she worked in residential design and construction for 8 years before moving to Colorado for graduate school. During her 9 years at Colorado State University, Melissa taught undergraduate estimating and graphic communications courses and conducted research; she received her master’s degree in Construction Management in 2014 and is doctoral candidate in Education & Human Resources. She moved back to Indiana in 2021 and is overjoyed to be near her sister in Indianapolis again.
