As the firm’s Business Operations Manager, Susan Szydlowski is charged with making sure our vision is upheld throughout all aspects of the business from creating proposals to cultivating workplace culture, and everything in between.  

Susan received a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design while in Chicago.  She spent time as a sales coordinator and marketer with a large furniture manufacturer prior to arriving at Carson Design Associates. Susan draws from her design education and business administrative experience to manage and deliver pre-design services to support the firms Workplace Strategy portfolio.

She loves the variety and constant change that come as part of her position since joining the firm in 2006.

Susan is a LEED Accredited Professional with specialty in Interior Design & Construction.
